The music on this album is created and played live in the studio and recorded in one take in order to allow each piece to develop in it's own unique way. It has been said that composing is improvising in slow motion. Accordingly one could say that improvising is composing on the fly, which indeed is what you experience so often when improvising like this. You move into uncharted land but soon encounter inherent structures of potential to be explored while a sense of timing and context leads to a natural conclusion. We hope that you will find listening to this music as rewarding as it was for us to play it. Enjoy!
